CONTIQUENCH™
The Pyromaître ContiQuench™ Hot Setting System is the latest addition to our mature line of precision products. ContiQuench™ is the seamless integration of our high speed precision ovens with our proprietary patent pending hot setting technique which provides far greater set times than conventional systems of similar throughput.
Our EverSet™ tooling package enables high volume processing with set times of 12-36 seconds, delivering approx 2-2.5 times greater reduction in Plastic Strain (%).
This precision combination delivers the confidence of hot set performance at both the upper temperature limit and the maximum beneficial clamping time. Allowing you to deliver greatly improved long term load stability at a reasonable cost.
ContiQuench™ is a fully integrated and automated complete hot set solution, featuring a self-contained quenchant cooling system, state of the art PLC controls, convenient discharge of processed springs, and minimized operating cost as only the mass of the springs are heated and quenched. The unique modular architecture of ContiQuench™ provides the flexibility to integrate a variety of optionally available operations such as cold setting, load checking, and sorted discharge.
Standard ContiQuench systems are available for Fuel Injector Springs, Valve Springs, Clutch Springs, and Medical Device Springs.
